My paintings explore the interconnection between body, spirit, and the natural world. Working primarily in oil and acrylic on canvas, I render classical figuration through the lens of nature mysticism, elemental forces, and embodied transformation. The human figures in my work become a site of encounter with inner dimensions of experience as well as outer encounters with animals, plants, and landscapes, evoking a dialogue between the two. I am drawn to themes of rebirth, descent, renewal and contemplation where personal and collective transformation take root. Earth, air, fire, water, and ancestral presences often appear in my compositions guiding figures toward deeper awareness of their own humanity and interdependence with the earth. These symbols are not presented as distant mythologies but as living presences that shape contemporary existence. Grounded in rigorous training in classical painting and anatomy, my practice moves beyond representation to function as ritual and reflection. Painting for me is a process of communion and a way of making visible the liminal spaces where body, landscape, self and spirit, converge. Each canvas is both an image and an offering, carrying the possibility of stillness, remembrance, and renewal. Through my work, I aim to create paintings that honor the sacredness of what it is to be human.
